America Ferrera Opens Up About "Ugly Betty" Cancelation
Actress America Ferrera is opening up about her feelings as "Ugly Betty" nears its final episode. It was announced last month that the ABC network comedy, about the lives of the staff of a fashion magazine, will end its run after four seasons.
The Golden Globe winning address told Parade magazine in an interview, "I lived with this character, who I loved from day one, and I have only grown to feel more connected to her. Her entire journey was about a transformation, kind of coming into her own womanhood and owning herself physically and emotionally."
Ferrera continued: "I'm staying in denial for now. I'll deal with all of those emotions in a little bit. I imagine that when we finally wrap it's not going to be a dry-eyed good-bye."
Despite the series nearing its ending with four episodes left, that doesn't mean Ferrera will be able to enjoy any time off soon. The actress has three films lined up this year, which include "The Dry Land," "How To Train Your Dragon" and "Our Family Wedding." icelebz
