Arizona fugitive John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch, were arrested at a campsite, 300 miles east of Arizona private prison on Thursday evening. John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch are the most wanted fugitives in the U.S, creating a three-week nationwide manhunt after McCluskey fled from the Arizona prison on July 30 where he was serving 15-years prison term for aggravated assault and firearm discharge.

Casslyn Welch is McCluskey's cousin and fiancee. They were arrested in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest in eastern Arizona. Officers were able to capture McCluskey without any incident while he's sleeping outside a tent. McCluskey admitted that things would go different if he had been wake up, since he got a gun in his tent and will definitely use it. Welch, however, was able to noticed the SWAT team and reached for a weapon, but decided to drop it and surrender as they are outgunned.
